People who are fit, or want to be, consistently practice these habits:
· Eat 4-6 small meals per day
· Choose more natural foods than processed foods
· Do not eat less than 1200 calories per day
· Set aside time to prepare meals
· Eat low fat protein with every meal
· Eat higher calories and simple sugars earlier in the day and lower calories in the evening
· Drink more than eight cups of water per day
· Use multi-vitamins and sometimes additional supplements to assist with results
· Use meal replacement and protein bars, shakes, and powders for quick meals
· Allow a cheat day or 2 cheat meals per week
· Limit or do not keep any cheat foods in the house
· Do cardiovascular exercise at least 3 times per week
· Do weight or resistance training at least 2 times per week
· Stretch at least 3 days per week
· Get at least 6 hours of sleep each night
